JuLY 06, 2008 - FERRARI ELMER HOLTKAMP TAKES
OF1L LEAD WITH WIN IN FRANCE
French GP, 8th race of 2008 season. Simo Holm
surprised us on Q2 with 2nd position, Joni Varis
started from pole again, but when lights turned
off all went wrong for Joni.
Simon Bishop (toyota in photo 1 below) retired
due to engine failure. Unfair he parked his
car very close to the track and caused a big
mess. Holtkamp and Renting were in front whole
race, fighting for 1st place.
In the back nothing big happend, Simo was trying
to get higher Oslakovic was trying to pass Murat.
In the end only 8 drivers finished the race.
Elmer won (ferrari photo below), Dominic was
second and Jeroen was third. Joni only managed
4th place. Murat scored 2 points on his first
ever race. Luka scored a point for Spyker after
a long slump.
Great Britain GP is on 13th July. Good Luck
to all teams.
